HP announced the new ENVY 17 3D notebook PC with 3D Cinema Technology for 3D cinema-quality visuals as well as Beats Audio and an HP Triple Bass Reflex subwoofer. The ENVY 17 3D comes with a 17.3-inch HP 3D Ultra BrightView Display with Full HD 1080p resolution and HP 3D Active Shutter Glasses.

The ENVY 17 3D is powered by Intel Core i7 processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 graphics. It has up to 2TB of storage and Blu-ray drive. The 3D notebook gets a brushed aluminum housing.[hp]

HP introduces the ENVY 14 Beats edition notebook. Based on original ENVY 14, the Beats edition includes Beats Audio, a unique, high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre to provide the optimal sound experience. Select models will come with Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe Premiere Elements 8 software for photo and video editing.

The ENVY 14 Beats Edition is powered by choice of Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 8GB of memory and 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 dedicated graphics card. It is equipped with up to 640GB hard drive or 250GB SSD, a DVD SuperMulti burner, a 14.5-inch LED-backlit display with 1366×768 resoltion, red backlit keyboard, webcam, Bluetooth and WiFi.

Fujitsu announced the new Lifebook AH530/GFX performance notebook. As the update to the original AH530, the new AH530/GFX comes with an external graphics card featuring ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v GPU and 1GB of video RAM.

The AH530/GFX is powered by Intel’s Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. It gets either a Blu-ray drive or a DVD burner, and a multi-in-one card reader. Dell releases in the US market its new Inspiron M101z slim notebook, following UK launch. Powered by AMD’s Athlon II Neo single or dual core processor, Dell’s new laptop gets up to 4GB of RAM, integrated ATI graphics and up to a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive.

The M101z has a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and HDMI output. It packs 2×1.5W speakers with SRS Premium Surround Sound, 7-in-1 card reader, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, and Ethernet LAN port. Gateway brings its ID series notebooks to Canada, which is available in three screen sizes, the 14-inch ID49, the 15.6-inch ID59 and the 17.3-inch ID79. The ID49 and ID59 have been released in the US in June and both of them come with aqua-blue touchpad.

The ID49 and ID59 are powered by Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, 4GB of RAM while the ID79 packs Core i7 CPU and 6GB RAM. The ID79 comes with a 17.3-inch 1600×900 LCD display. Some models will also include NVIDIA GeForce GT330M dedicated graphics with support for NVIDIA Optimus graphics technology that intelligently switch between GT330M and integrated Intel HD graphics.

The AOD255 comes with a 10.1-inch display and a glass splitter like “flake” design. You can also expect WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Verizon Wireless and Samsung have teamed up to release the N150 netbook with built-in Verizon mobile broadband network connectivity. Boosted by Intel Atom N450 processor, the N150 packs 1GB of RAM, integrated GMA 3150 graphics, 150GB hard drive and a 10.1-inch LED-backlit 1024×600 display.
