Toshiba Qosmio G60/97J is a high-end laptop that has just been announced by the company together with a number of others. The Qosmio G60/97J is a super laptop that packs a high-end computer, Blu-Ray player and a digital TV into one.
The Qosmio G60/97J is more than sufficient for you to carry out all your work on it while you’re on the run. And some more you can keep yourself fully entertained with the digital TV and Blu-ray player. The Toshiba Qosmio G60 packs a Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, GeForce GT230M, Ethernet port, wireless N WiFi, HDMI port and runs Windows 7.
The laptop has an 18.4 inch screen which should be large enough to let you watch digital TV on it. And it has two digital TV tuners, which allow you to record one channel and watch the other channel at the same time. The Blu-Ray drive, harman/kardon speakers and the Toshiba’s self-developed SpursEngine processor make it a best video recording studio for those on the run. It also comes with a remote control, making it more qualified as a portable media center.
The Toshiba Qosmio G60 weighs 5kg, measures 442.6×294.2×41.5mm. It’s slated to hit Japan at the end of the month for $3,200. If you mind the price, you can get a trimmed-down version , GX/G8K, which costs you $800 less, but with lower resolution of 1,680×945, lower HDD of 400GB and no TV tuners or SpursEngine processor.
